Dr. Emily O’Brien
Dr. Emily O’Brien grew up in the Capital Region area and attended Cazenovia College where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications. She worked as a graphic designer before joining our clinics as a veterinary assistant and entering veterinary school. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine after completing her clinical rotations at Louisiana State University. In May 2021 she was awarded her Doctorate Of Veterinary Medicine and returned to the Capital Region to rejoin our staff as a veterinarian. Her professional interests include Integrative medicine and small animal medicine. Dr. O’Brien joined the Boght and Oakwood Veterinary Clinics in June 2021.
Outside the office, Dr. O’Brien’s hobbies include hiking, reading, cooking, and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with friends, family, and of course her dog Yogi and cat Remi.
