Dr. David Wagoner
Dr. Wagoner is a lifelong resident of Cohoes, New York. He attended Shaker High School and has worked at the clinic since he was 16 years old. During that time he has held every position at the hospital from kennel worker to receptionist to veterinary assistant, and since 1991, as a veterinarian. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from SUNY Albany. He 1987, he traveled to the Caribbean island of St. Kitts to attend Ross University of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Ross and returned to work at the clinic as a veterinarian.
In 1995, he purchased half interest in the practice and became partners with Dr. Ralph Oles. Under his ownership and during his partnership with Dr. Oles, the clinic has grown and prospered.
His professional interests encompass all aspects of general small animal medicine. In this capacity, he can treat each of his patients throughout their life for all routine, surgical, and emergency care.
Outside of his office, he enjoys spending time with his family, dogs, birds, and horses. He also enjoys riding his Harley and always stays busy with yard work and several ongoing personal projects.
